At Catshill Middle School, learning extends far beyond the classroom. We believe that school trips, fundraising, and charitable events are essential for developing pupils’ confidence, independence, teamwork, and sense of community. School Trips

Our trips are carefully chosen to enrich learning and personal development:

• Malvern Boundless Outdoors Adventure: Pupils take part in outdoor challenges designed to build confidence, resilience, and communication skills. Working together, they improve problem-solving abilities, push their limits, and learn the value of teamwork in a supportive and exciting environment.

• Music Trips – Young Voices: Pupils experience performing in one of the world’s largest choirs at a live venue. This unforgettable opportunity develops musical skills, teamwork, and confidence in performing for a large audience.

• History Trips – Black Country Living Museum: Pupils step back in time to experience life in 19th-century Britain. These visits bring history to life, deepen our understanding of the past, and provide immersive learning experiences that complement classroom study.

 

Fundraising and Charitable Events
Throughout the school year, pupils participate in fundraising activities and charitable events, learning the importance of empathy, community involvement, and social responsibility. These initiatives encourage pupils to take action, support others, and understand their role in making a positive difference locally and globally.
